Jet Thrill - Cockle Bay
DARLING HARBOUR
This 45minute thrilling
experience will have your adrenalin pumping!! As we
depart the calm waters of Cockle Bay passing between
Sydney Aquarium and the Maritime Museum we wave to
people who wish they were you.
Then we head out into the main
harbour. Hold on tight as your driver unleashes the
power of our massive diesel engines! Now it is time to
give you a taste of what jet boating is about - from
radical fishtails, awesome spins to amazing power brake
stops.
We head under the Harbour
Bridge, past the Opera House and fishtail all the way to
Watsons Bay where we spin about and make our way back
past Bradley's Head, Kirribilli and Luna Park and
re-enter cockle bay with huge grins and applause for our
fabulous drivers!

Our Boats
Our vessels are 9 metres in
length and generate 710 horsepower from twin turbo
charged Ultrajet-Cummins diesel engines that recycle 760
litres of water a second!
Due to the size and passenger
capacity of 23 people per boat, the awesome power to
weight ratio gives us the ability to provide the most
exhilarating ride on Sydney Harbour and surrounding
waterways!
Our boats are well maintained
by expert engineers. Unlike conventional boats, jet
boats utilise an internal propeller (impeller) to
provide propulsion. Water is drawn in through an inlet
in the bottom of the boat, then driven out through a
nozzle at the rear with great force.
Turning is accomplished by
moving the nozzle left to right. Breaking and reverse
are achieved by using a deflector, similar to the
reverse thrust deflector on a jet aircraft.
Where To Find Us
Sydney Jet rides depart
from Cockle Bay Wharf,
Darling Harbour, Sydney.
Rides operate every day
except Christmas on the
